Recover lost or forgotten passwords to Adobe Acrobat PDF files
This program (Advanced PDF Password Recovery, or simply APDFPR) can be used to decrypt protected Adobe
Acrobat PDF files, which have "owner" password set, preventing the file from editing (changing), printing,
selecting text and graphics (and copying them into the Clipboard), or adding/changing annotations and form
fields (in any combination). Decryption is being done instantly. Decrypted file can be opened in any PDF
viewer (e.g. Adobe Acrobar Reader) without any restrictions -- i.e. with edit/copy/print functions enabled.
All versions of Adobe Acrobat (including 5.x, which features 128-bit encryption) are supported.
The program is also able to convert Kinko's Document Format (KDF) files to PDF files (without any protection).
Please note that APDFPR doesn't work with documents which have user-level passwords (preventing the files
from being opened), if both user and owner passwords are unknown; and PDF files protected with any 3rd
party security plug-ins.
Professional edition
also allows to search for "owner" and "user" passwords with brute-force and dictionary
attacks, effectively optimized for speed (however, don't expect to recover long passwords in a resonable
time with these attacks). In addition, it has Key search attack, which guarantees the decryption of
PDF 1.3 files (Acrobat 4.x or older) regardless the password length, by trying all possible 40-bit encryption
keys (it takes about 3-4 days on modern dual-CPU systems).

or business license on APDFPR standard edition, and have
a PDF file that is corrupted (i.e. Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader won't load it giving some error message), we

(include your order ID or registration code into your request). If your PDF file is smaller than 500K, you
can send it as attachment; otherwise, please request us for FTP login to upload it. Note: one file per
user; additional files might be recovered under a special agreement.
Important! Unregistered (trial) version can be used during 30 days after installation (although it
doesn't expire, actually) and has some limitations. You can order the fully licensed version of APDFPR over the
Internet from RegNow with any major credit card. The ordering page is on a secure server, ensuring that your
confidential information remains confidential. As soon as RegNow notifies us that your order has been processed
(usually in one business day), we will provide you with the serial number which will register your copy of APDFPR.
Note: There are Personal and Business licenses ($30 and $60 for Standard Edition, and $60 and $120 for
Professional Edition,
respectively). With the Personal License, you can use the program for non-commercial purposes
in non-business, non commercial environment. To use the program in a corporate, government or business environment,
you should purchase a Business License.
